Getting started with Security and Compliance
In the context of IT security, compliance means ensuring that your organization meets the standards for data privacy and security that apply to your specific industry. Easily enough said, but how do you get started, implement a solid structure that adheres to your organization and industry? In addition, how do you keep up with it and what do you do if you are breached and, or violated by an employee? These are all great questions and exactly what we will discuss in this session. Terminology will be step one but then it's all uphill from there as it's not simple or quick but the impact within your organization will be huge and potentially save your organization if breached.
